Before I could even enter my room, I was surprised when Marian stopped my hand. “Why?” I asked him.

“Don't ever go ahead with what you plan to do,” Marian said to me.

“I would have liked to stay in the other room with my son but I really can't.”

“Are you really crazy?” Marian screamed and she still didn't let go of my hand.

“Try me first, Marian. I can no longer resist the call of nature, I want to cut back,” I told her and I got a strong slap on the arm from Marian.

After a few minutes, I came out of the room refreshed. I took a shower to somehow cool my head. I caught Marian and Karla waiting outside my room.

“You're taking too long,” Marian complained.

I took the child from him and went down first. “Did you really think I was going to kill myself?”

“Of course! I know how important Brent is to you and then he just left you because he has someone new,” Marian answered.
