Alpha Kanen’s POV

The room was calm as Rose and I sat across from each other. The events of the night had left us both shaken, but for different reasons.

I could see the fire in her eyes, the courage that had driven her to stand up to Jacklin, my brother. It was admirable, in a way, but also dangerous. Too dangerous.

“Kanen,” Rose started, her voice steady but laced with urgency. “We can’t let him get away with this. He needs to be dealt with, and we need to act now before he has a chance to strike again.” she said as if already boiling with anger.
