Rose’s POV

The sound of his voice made me go still. I had no idea what to do at this point and I was literally so scared of him. There was no telling what he was capable of doing, and we were alone here. It made me so anxious.

“I believe I’m talking to you, maid. Where the fuck are you going to?” he asked coldly.

I hardly knew what to do. My hands went round the knob tightening its hold on it. I thought to close my eyes briefly so I can escape this place, but I couldn’t do that. I took a shaky breath and turned lightly to face him.
