Alpha Kanen’s POV

I groaned as I rolled to my sides. The taste of sleep was escaping through my fingers, and I knew without a doubt that it was time for me to rise. With a groan, I stretched my hands above my head and sighed.

‘Rose…’ my subconscious called out.

I looked at where Rose ought to be, but she wasn’t there either. It was vacant. With a curse, I flew out of bed and made a move where she was. There was no one lying there.

I closed my eyes as I tried to stop the rage that threatened to get the best of me, but it was hard to do so. How dare she leave without informing me after everything I had told her last night?

She couldn’t understand how much I need her to stay put and be submissive? This insane stubbornness has to come to an end at some point because I don’t think I would be able to handle any of these for so long. It was just too much.

I tugged at the short hair I kept in frustration.
