Alpha Kanen’s POV

Hilda pushed her strawberry hair behind her ears as she gave me a dazzling smile. It’s been a while that I saw her, and I was pleasantly surprised that she would come here at all.

“You’re surprised to see me,” she stated as a fact.

I shrugged as I moved past her to one of the chairs. My eyes met hers as I sat down calmly. “Yes, I am. I don’t think I remember the last time you came to my home,” I said calmly.

She smiled easily for she knew I was right. I had no idea what Hilda was thinking when she came here, but hopefully it won’t bring too much trouble. As much as I reveled in her presence, I didn’t like when people came to the pack house unannounced.
