Chapter 36

Eleanor’s POV

I stayed in my room throughout the day and I ended up no eating anything. I heard the cock crows and my stomach grumbled at the same time. I sighed and stood up from the floor, I had been in the same position sitting down on the floor for a while, and I wasn’t able to sleep.

The dreams are draining me and always leaving me in thoughts, at this point I don’t know what to think anymore, I don’t know what’s right or wrong neither do I know whether Derek is innocent or not. I couldn’t grasp any reasonable reason he could have done it if he were guilty.

I went inside my bathroom and washed my face before leaving my room, I decided to get myself something to eat since my stomach was unable to stop grumbling. I yawned as I arrived in the kitchen, which was quiet, it was too early in the morning for anyone to resume duties.
