When Dad asked me why I wanted to transfer to a different school, I couldn't tell him the truth since I didn't want to hurt his feelings. And because I was such a brat as a daughter, he gave in and decided to grant my request.

However, dad was still informed about what I had done because the school's principal had phoned him. I was not allowed to use the phone, go shopping, or hang out with my friends during the week that I was grounded. But I had no problem with that at all. After what happened, none of my friends were around anymore.

I made an effort to simplify my nature and become a more straightforward person. I altered everything about myself, from the clothes I wore to the way I thought about things. I'm not used to being a typical student, but I'll have to get used to it from now on.
