He smiles back at me widely, his familiar grin lights up his face that had seemed so gloomy the last time we spoke.

A wide array of emotions engulfs me all at once, but shock carries most of the weight.

“He’s a special case, so we need you to help him feel comfortable.” The school counselor adds sweetly.

He was most definitely a special case for sure. This answers so many questions.

Of course, it would be Silas.

Only the Alpha king’s authority is high enough for a student to easily change programs just ‘cause they were struggling a bit in school.
