Lex’s POV
“Why does it feel like everything is spiraling out of my control?” I muttered as I stared at the moon from my bedroom balcony. “Why are you allowing such events to happen? Is this some kind of punishment, some kind of test?”
I sighed, my heart heavy.
The cool night air brushed against my skin, but it did little to alleviate the turmoil inside me.
I closed my eyes, hoping for clarity, but all I found was a growing sense of uncertainty that wrapped around me like a thick fog.
“Why are you allowing this impostor in my life?” I asked.
