My father was going to be released in a month, and I don’t know how to feel. Should I be happy or sad?

My father was arrested for d***s and armed robbery and was sentenced to twenty years in prison. That was when I was just twelve years old. He had only served ten, which meant he was released on parole.

Before he went to jail, my parents had never had a good relationship. My mother was always cheating with several men, and once my dad caught her, it would lead to a fight. My parents were high school sweethearts, but their love soon faded out, or should I say my mother ran out of love for him.
