Chapter 19. Negotiations

Four weeks had passed since the Black wedding, and Brian was loving his new wife. He knew she wasn’t perfect, and he didn’t expect her to be. When Damien had told him he had delved into her past, he was enraged. He didn’t believe in judging a book by its cover; instead, he was more interested in letting the past go and having a loving and good future.

He also admired her daughter, Ariana. She was a strong and good woman, and he knew she craved his son, Damien. He had caught her sneaking looks at him on several occasions, and not to mention at the wedding, they seemed to have known each other. When he asked Brian, he dismissed him and denied ever meeting her.

He warned her to stay away from his son, as he knew he wasn’t good for her. His lifestyle and health weren’t something she could keep up with. The past weeks had been filled with negotiations concerning the Nova Creation company. Lucas, an Italian businessman and billionaire who was also known to be part of
