Ameira’s POV
After our exhilarating island hopping adventure, we arrived at Paca Island, our final stop for the afternoon where we would indulge in a sumptuous lunch. The island’s surroundings were refreshingly picturesque, with the sound of waves gently crashing against the shore, creating a serene ambiance.
As we settled down for our meal, Xandros took a seat beside me, his presence providing a comforting warmth. I couldn’t help but appreciate his thoughtfulness as he filled my plate with delectable dishes. Xandros had an innate sweetness that made me feel cherished, and his gestures were not lost on me. In fact, our bond had become so palpable that even the speed boat driver mistook us for a newlywed couple. Instead of correcting him, we exchanged knowing smiles, allowing the assumption to linger.
“Are you enjoying yourself?” Xandros asked, his eyes meeting mine as he took a sip of his drink.
“Yes, I’m thoroughly enjoying it,” I replied, my smile widening
