Ameira’s POV

“You haven’t answered my question yet, Ameira. Can’t you admit that you really are jealous of Kendall?” Xandros chased after me after his friends’ wedding ceremony. He really followed me all the way here at the back of the pool area, near the garden. It’s quite far from the pavilion where the wedding reception is taking place. There’s no one here in this area since it’s not well-lit. I don’t even know why I came here when I could have just gone back to the hotel. Crazy, Ameira!

I couldn’t help but squint even though he couldn’t see me since he was behind me while I continued walking. I thought he had forgotten about his question earlier about whether I was jealous of his supposed friend, Kendall, because the wedding had already started, but it turns out he hasn’t forgotten yet.
