Chapter 31
In the morning, Ameira opted for room service in her own room for her breakfast. She didn’t feel like going out; deep down, she knew it was because of what happened last night. As she woke up, the exact events of the previous night, when a woman opened Xandros’s room door, came back to her memory.
Remembering it again, she couldn’t help but feel irritated.
Unconsciously, she began stabbing her food on the plate with the fork she held, thinking about the woman.
“Ugh, why am I getting annoyed? What do I care if he has a woman in his room?” she muttered to herself, finally letting go of the spoon and fork. Ameira completely lost her appetite and decided to get up and go to the bathroom to take a shower.
Even though she had no planned activities for the day and preferred to stay inside her room, she still took a shower. She believed it would help relieve the frustration she was feeling.
