Ameira’s POV

Xandros kissed me gently. This kiss is different from other kisses that I had before because I know there’s going to be more. I know it won’t end here, so my whole body feels like it’s on fire... the air conditioning is not enough to quench the heat I’m feeling right now; it’s like I’m being burned by his hands holding my shoulders. Even though my breath feels short from the prolonged connection of our lips, I have no desire to stop.

My hands have a mind of their own as they find their way to Xandros’s wet and bare chest. When they touched his bare chest, I could feel the warmth of his skin. It’s like that heat is flowing through my entire body, making me burn even more.
