Chapter 55. Courage
Maria tidied her and Chris' clothes into their wardrobes, her hands occasionally patting Chris' coats of arms, which looked dusty because they were rarely used.
"Look at this row of suits. I told him to store them in plastic clothes if he didn't want to use them. But he doesn't want to listen to me." Maria then took the initiative to clean up Chris's rarely touched suits to store in plastic clothes. She also tried to look for the plastic clothes in the drawers and shelves in their walk-in closet.
And when she opened one of Chris's shelves, she saw some jewellery that she believed belonged to Martha. Maria was never interested in Martha's belongings. When she married Chris, Martha's belongings were already cleaned up by her husband, and she never knew where Chris put all of Martha's belongings.
