Chapter 56. The Acceptance

Chris and Dawn took care of everything necessary for Angela's return after that incident. They both had to ensure Angela's health was stable first. A warm smile appeared on Angela's face, and she had spent almost one year in this hospital. And now is the time for her to return home and carry out her usual activities.

"If you left me here, what about your promise to help me find my family?" Roger sat next to Angela, who was still in her bed.

"You don't have to worry about that, I will not forget my promise. I will help you find your family. But what if you just come with me to the house? So you don't have to wait here alone?" Angela suggested with her innocently thought.

Roger suddenly lowered his head, and his hands seemed to grip the bed covers tightly.

"I've tried several times to get out of this hospital, but I can't. I'm kind of stuck in here, Angela. And I don't know why."
