Chapter 18. Everything Has Changed

I kissed her forehead. Her scent made me crazy. I wanted to devour her badly, but then I stopped. 

“Constantine?”

“You are no longer my mistress. If we did it here, my father wouldn’t believe you had been appointed as my housekeeper.”

“So?” Victoria’s lovely eyebrows rose, creating a beautiful arc. “You changed your mind!” Her voice was cheerful.

I touched her eyebrows with my fingers. Smiling, she was so pretty and mine.

“What?” She stared at me.

“Nothing. Your eyebrows are beautiful.”

“Only my eyebrows?”

I chuckled. “My beautiful lady is longing for a compliment. Why didn’t you say so?”

She rewarded me with a light punch on my chest. “If I should say it, it would be quite embarrassing.”

I laughed again until she silenced me with her kiss. Her hand roamed everywhere and stopped at the lower part of my stomach. Then it went lower.
