Chapter 10. Desperation

Tala’s POV

I pressed on the doorbell and took a step backward. Finally, I was free from her. She stretches her arm with comfort, but when she gets hold of you, she controls, and when she is done, you get thrown into the trash like used paper.

I knew every corner of her games, my heart goes off to the people who experienced the hit of her quest for power. I was finally leaving, standing at the doorway of Athena to get my sack paper.

The decision of where to go wasn’t far from me. I was a nurse who was willing to help people without any pay. Running a charity isn’t a bad idea either.
