“She is very beautiful,” I heard her say. I took my phone away from her, shoving it into my pocket.

“When Tala performed the procedure for the implant, I was lying down, but I just happened to sit up, and I saw you and your mate go into the elevator,” she continued with a low tone.

I was about to step out when I heard a voice behind me, it was Nyla’s voice calling on me to take my phone. She had it in her hand, looking at the display picture on the phone. We had just returned from the woods.
