Chapter 13. You Made the Right Decision
Nyla’s POV
Tala inserted the key into the ignition, bringing the car alive.
“Wait, my father,” I said, still looking around, hoping he was going to come out. Even as we came to pick up Jenny and Mama T, I had dialed his number and have constantly kept on dialing his number, but just as always, it always goes into voicemail.
“Nyla,” Mama T tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to meet her gaze.
“I’m sorry, your father went to the hospital last night and hasn’t come back yet,” Mama T said.
My father was supposed to meet me at the hospital after I was done giving birth, but I never saw him, rather, I saw myself in the middle of nowhere.
“Nyla, we are running out of time, we need to leave,” Tala said, almost putting the car in motion.
“Wait, he will come, you will see it,” I said, irrespective of my hope clashing to the ground. I could vividly remember the last time I saw my father at the dungeon, promising him I was going to let him out
