Chapter 15. You Won’t Be Alone Anymore

Nyla’s POV

“We have to go.” Mama T rushed over to the room where I lay. I was trying to get some sleep since the baby was fast asleep. She interrupted the moment with her chest going up and down like she just saw a ghost.

“What is going on?” I asked sitting up to look at Mama T, who was seriously packing up our stuff. I could see desperation in her eyes, which bore the weight of whatever she was about to say.

“I overheard Tala talking with some man about killing someone.”
