Nyla’s POV

I stood in front of the mirror rehearsing the same words over and over again.

I can’t believe I’m doing this. I thought I wanted a quiet life away from trouble and noise but it was quite obvious I’m inviting trouble to my door steps.

“Why don’t you consider it?” Jenny said behind me. I didn’t even realize when she came into the room, probably she had been watching me from the corner.

“I have to do this, Jenny,” I said with a heavy sigh.

“There is no need for you to, we are already living a peaceful life. Please consider your decision.”

“No,” I said firmly. I know deep down she does like what I’m doing but then sometimes people have to face their fears. I’m done running all my life when I did nothing wrong. I’m done hiding like a coward. I’m going to face Mia, for everything she did to me.

“Why will you be helping Susan? You don’t even have a deep relationship with her?”
