Lily’s POV

I drove back to the office, dropping the file on the desk exhausted.

“Jason didn’t agree to it.”

“I know you must have begged him.” My mother said for the first time in my life I could see worry written all over.

She was getting all worked up by the situation. Tala has made an anonymous declaration to the media. We knew she was the one because she knows almost everything about the company, and additionally, she is working to make sure Susan is free.

I thought Mum could handle the situation, it is obvious she couldn’t because we didn’t have any slight idea that Susan was in touch with Nyla, and now Nyla was going to speak the truth of what she went through.

It’s a total disaster, we are going to lose every single thing we have worked for. We needed Jason to speak to Tala since they were still in touch.
