“That fucker is breathing alive while I walk in pain,” I said balling my fist in anger. I just wait to see her in pain.

“Easy boy,” he nudge my shoulder.

“About the compensation, it was given to Athena and David but not to worry. This is for you,” he stretched out the bag which had money.

“But I have some revelation for you. If you are a good fellow, I will let you know the truth. The truth of who killed your brother.”

“Truth! What is the truth? Nyla’s father pulled the trigger,” I knew something was up his sleeves.

“Yes, sure he did,” he bent respectfully like he was bowing to the Alpha. I could feel the sarcasm in his tone.

“Is the gun supposed to be loaded?” I arched an eyebrow.

“Loaded,” my mind drifted off to the day before the operation. Athena and David have come to me and my brother for this job offer, she kept the details of who it was supposed to be done for. We spoke to whoever it was over the phone and sh
