Chapter 32. I’m Done Hearing Your Apologies

Neomi’s POV

Standing by the window side with my pup stretched out. I wanted to throw her out of the window to end the misery she put me through but then a voice came questioning my decision. The same voice at the bar. The same voice came back, that same voice within me.

Neomi, this pup did nothing to you?

I’ve been reminded again and again. So I have the heart to kill someone. I’m not a monster, this isn’t who I am and no fucking situation is going to turn me into who I’m not. Tears deep down my cheek. Sometimes life moves to such tight moments that we can’t breathe, we doubt ourselves several times. It seems we carry the weight of the world on our heads.

I deserve more, I deserve so much better but not by killing an innocent child that did nothing to you. My mind reminded me, that I still had consciousness. I had that voice that kept reminding me there was still peace at the end of the tunnel. I need to accept my fate for me to heal, I need to move on
