“You have to show up every 3 hours to feed her,” the doctor reminded me. I was seated with Mia in the doctor’s office. Valerie wasn’t yet allowed to leave, she was still under observation.

“Am I interrupting anything?” Jason asked as he walked into the office.

“No, the doctor here is educating us on Valerie’s case, you can ask him any questions about your concerns and about your daughter’s health, but not about the woman you run after,” Mia elaborated with a baritone voice. Doctor Dart was Nyla’s doctor and helped in delivering the babies.

Jason scoffed, peering his eyes at me. Everything Nyla’s name is being called directly or indirectly makes my heart skip. I’m scared of Jason leaving me.
