Chapter 67. I Found Her Bleeding

Jason’s POV

I don’t want to fight anymore. I can’t lose Neomi, there were several reasons for me and Nyla not to be together. She is my mate, she makes me stronger, and she sees through me. She is just the only one who knows exactly what I do.

Neomi is always all about her- what she wants, her dreams, everything about her matters. What about me?

I found someone who accepted me for who I am, but I lost her, and I wouldn’t lose Neomi.

I shut my eyes momentarily, looking into space, my mind dripping off.

I could still remember the first time, the first time I slept with her, I came home with no sight of Nyla. I called her name several times, but there was no answer. I was getting all worried. Could she have run away? Where will she even turn to?

I ran out calling out her name only to be told by the neighbor that she was rushed to the hospital.

“Hospital!” I whispered, my mind racing with the worst.
