We both shifted and headed to the priestess temple.

We didn’t talk to each other as we raced through the forest. It was almost midnight but we weren’t afraid.

I was willing to go to any length to have my Kaelan back.

There was so much I wanted to say to him. Or rather, I wanted so much to scream at him for what he put us through but I kept my anger under control. Right now, fixing this is more important than my emotions.

The priestess seemed to have lived more than a thousand years but her eyes remained sharp enough to make you stand in awe.

She gazed at us silently as we entered the temple and smiled. “The Alpha King and his Luna. What brings you to my temple at dawn?”
