The ugly looking rogue seemed to enjoy seeing me bleed. He moved closer to me with the silver blade and was about to cut me again.

But then, the cabin door burst open.

I closed my eyes tightly as I expected some rogues to lunge at me. But nothing like that happened. Instead, I felt a scent so familiar that it took my breath away.

A deep, guttural snarl filled the air.

Darius didn’t even have time to react before a massive force collided with him, sending him flying into the wooden wall.

Darius was instantly injured as the scent of blood and fury filled the space.
