Chapter 77. Missing Pieces
Paris’s eyes drooped. She rubbed her eyes and tried her best to suppress a yawn. It was adorable how she was battling to keep her eyes open.
“What did Loki do with the witch’s son?” She murmured.
I carried her to the bed and tucked her in.
“I’m sure the boy’s safe,” I said softly.
I brushed the hair out of her face and smiled. She was gorgeous. She was my everything. She was everything I didn’t think I would have in this life. My life was darkness and blood. With the bastards from her past gone, it was one less obstacle in our path.
“Don’t think I’m… going to fall asleep Marcel.” She yawned.
“Of course not, Kitten.”
“I’m still hungry,” she mumbled.
I stood. “I’ll be right back with your food.”
“Don’t take too long.”
“Oh, nothing can keep me away.” I closed the door between us. She was fast asleep the second I was gone.
