Chapter 37. Lost Memories

Xavier knew the risk he took with Mia was reckless and if Edward had found out he had offered himself to her and placed his life on the line, he wouldn’t forgive him. He had to do something, though. He was desperate, and the only way to prove himself to Mia was by putting his life on the line. It would be hard to believe, but this was the only way of reaching her that made sense to him.
