Chapter 50. A Sacrifice

I sat down on the table while the servants worked to set it up finally. I avoided looking at guard that was standing not too far from me and watching me.

Truly Felix had found out and planned a sick fate for me.

Few seconds later Belinda passed by from Bria’s room direction. Her eyes were searching for me until she saw me seated at the table. She saw the guard too that was watching me.

She nodded to me signaling that she had done everything she was to do. Now I just had to find an excuse to leave……..

I got up and started on my way to Bria’s room while Belinda went away. With every step I took I felt my heart pounding badly.

This was it. I was either going to get away or not. I kept walking, knowing that the guard was following me from behind.
