Chapter 56. Women for Mates

“I feel like I’ve met you before.” I repeated. I couldn’t be wrong about this one, I had definitely seen her before but I just didn’t know where.

“Ryder, please I’m sure she just looks like someone you knew or……..”

“It was at that party wasn’t it? You were the girl that came with me to the back during the party at that bar not so?”

The girl lowered her gaze. She was definitely the one.

“Yes my lord.” She whispered.

I shot Anthony a sarcastic smile and leaned into my chair again. “That’ll be all for today Anthony.”

He nodded and asked the girl to leave. When she had gone he came to sit beside me and he took my glass and poured some champagne for himself. He downed it at one go too.

“Im sorry buddy I know this must be a bit stressing………”

“Do you though? Do you actually know that it’s stressing?” Anthony shot at me. “Because all you’ve done is sit back and reject every woman I have brought your way……….”
