Chapter 70. Lead the Way

“What do you mean?”

“I mean Lovette is here. I can smell her.” I said with a crooked smile and shoved him out of the way. I signaled my men and we walked past the gates. John was running behind me and chattering some rubbish but I didn’t pay him any attention. I knew the way to the main hall where the party was definitely holding. When I got there I saw that it was occupied fully. John was really enjoying himself since the past Alpha James his brother was killed. I sniffed the air and tried to catch a stronger scent of Lovette but there was nothing. I wondered why the scent had suddenly disapeared. Now i was only sure that she was here initially but not now. The scent was wearing off gradually and it was all mixed up with something else now, making me confused and uncertain.

I turned around and started moving around the pack house.

“Let’s go to my office……please……..if she’s indeed here there’s one person that would know. I would send for her at once……..”
