Chapter 11. The Swine, the Cousin

Elton’s POV.

So far so good there was no reoccurrence of dad punishing Daphne. Even on the day when the visitors, George Kingsman and his father and members of their pack, had come to Diamond crescent. I had expected Dad to send for Daphne, and because of that as soon as I had left the light tree after wishing George and his father a safe trip home, I had stuck around Daphne all through.

Mother was around and so even if I suggested to Daphne that she stay with me for the night she wouldn’t have agreed to. The only way to make sure she was safe was to stay with her.

I was surprised when dad didn’t do anything to her. It had been two days now.

I couldn’t contain the joy I felt when George defended me and Daphne in front of my parents that day. There was no mistake, George was attracted to Daphne.
