Chapter 19. Harris. The Trip to Diamond Crescent

Harris’s POV.

I knew George was trying to tell me to take a trip to Diamond Crescent and find out about the girl personally even though he had a very strange way of communicating it. He was the intending Alpha and he could have anything he wished for.

Yet he didn’t feel like he could give me a straightforward order to go look for this girl. I looked out the car window as it sped on its way to Diamond Crescent.

Who was this girl anyway and how was it that she happened to be George’s mate? A common slave girl? George wasn’t the kind of man to be easily swayed or swept off his feet by a girl. So there had to be something about this girl that made him continually ask that information about her be found.

He wasn’t even sure she was his mate, yet he was determined to find out all he could about her.
