I woke up to the sound of a bell that seemed to have been rung directly above my head. For the past two days all I had been doing was sleep and regain my strength. I was woken up often to eat and then I could continue sleeping. While I was awake I partook in some chores I felt I could take part in.

Sometimes I felt like I could remain with Fiona forever, that I never needed to leave the pack again. But with each hour I spent there I knew I wasn’t where I needed to be.
