Chapter 24. A Union?
Uncle Fergus’s POV.
I kept waving until I was sure the cars were no longer in sight. I heaved a sigh of relief that Basit’s son was gone and I didn’t need to pretend like I cared about whatever his arrogant ass had to say to me. I turned and walked back into the pack house.
The nerve of that boy to stand before me and speak like he was talking to his mate. It was because of the ongoing trade with his father that I figured I needed to be slightly pleasant to him.
If not no one dares stand before me like he did and spill nonsense.
“Is he gone?” Agatha asked as soon as I got into the parlor.”
“Yes.”
“Oh Fergus I’m so happy, we’re finally getting what we want.”
I nodded. “We are.”
Agatha came to sit beside me. “This union between Basit’s son and our daughter will go on to seal the trade between both packs, and that is exactly why we need……..”
“I am quite aware of all of this Agatha.”
