Chapter 22. Goodbye to Fiona

George’s POV.

“I’ll like to speak to Elton……..”

“I have already told you he is currently indisposed and unable to speak to you right now.” Fergus replied me and try as much as he did, he couldn’t hide his anger that I was questioning him so much about Elton. I hadn’t even asked him about Daphne because I expected him talking about her wouldn’t be so hard.

“I sincerely need to speak to him now Fergus, is there a way I can………”

“You can always leave a message and I’ll be more than happy to relay it.”

I shut my eyes for a few seconds. Fergus was proving very stubborn. I could tell that there was something he was hiding about Elton and Daphne’s whereabouts.

There was no way I was going to ask about Daphne directly else I would give myself away and let my intentions known and that could put her in more trouble.
