“I must treat your wounds; I can’t let it get infected because of my arrows.” He smiled at me awkwardly, taking the arrows from my palms and throwing them to the ground; he brought one of his hands to my right hip, encircling it, while in the other, he had a rabbit held by the front and back legs. We arrived back at the small river, where he wet a piece of his t” t-shirt before running it through my hands as I groaned at the cold temperature the water presented. “You should keep the bandage on at least until tomorrow; if I remember correctly, your metabolism is fast regenerating.”
“You know I hate bandages.” I mused as his brow furrowed more at my advancing words until he opened his mouth in displeasure perhaps searching for the right words. He squeezed my hands somewhat tightly so I groaned causing his eyes to widen slightly in fear, he pulled his hands away from me still wanting to say something.
