Charlotte had to bite her tongue to keep from bursting into laughter at that moment.

“Although it may not seem like it, living for so long can be too distressing, the most incredible things get to be boring, even the food, seeing the people you are fond of die is not the best, believe me,” Erian sighed “Besides, it’s also a big responsibility, not everyone can be converted.”

Charlotte swallowed dryly, he was talking as if everything that came out of his mouth was nothing but nonsense and he expected her to play along. No way!

“It’s good to know I’m not crazy,” She murmured as she rose from her seat slowly, measuring her own movements.
