“Just give it a chance; you’ll realize it’s worth it,” I said.

“I’ll think about it,” he replied as he handed me my breakfast, which consisted of Waffles with cream and strawberries.

“I love you, Eva,” I said, admiring her artwork on my plate.

“Me to you, my girl,” he said with a smile.

My day went by as it usually is for an alpha, or as it usually is for me; I signed some documents, made some contracts, saw the accounts of my companies being more than satisfied with the result, and reviewed the expenses of the herd, besides I communicated with the police stations closest to the territory where I negotiated with the chiefs in charge about letting the younger members who occasionally got into trouble when they went out on a bender some nights, making a mental note about scolding them and their parents later on.
