I couldn’t have pity now; I couldn’t believe her words like before, and I definitely couldn’t fall into her tears.

“The deal is that you will give me Terra if I come back to you,” I said looking down at the ground as he lifted his face from my neck and tried to meet my gaze, to no avail. “You will be able to say in front of everyone that I belong to you. But I won’t; I'm not yours, and I have no interest in being yours.”
