I growled about to go for his throat, but Adam held me by the waist, preventing me from doing so.
“Right now we can’t do anything,” He said as he continued to still hold my waist.
Marcus noticed it, too, and his smile froze.
Feeling the warmth of Adam’s body so close to mine comforted me somehow and served to calm the she” wolf inside me.
When we crossed the gate we waited for some wolves to attack us, but nothing happened, even when Adam transformed into his wolf form and I climbed on his back, moving several kilometers away from the place where we were still on the lookout for an attack, but nothing happened.
That infuriated me. Did he think he could take what was not his?
Even if I had to fight tooth and claw, I wouldn’t let that bastard get away with it.
