Charlotte’s POV

When I arrived at my room, I was surprised to see one of the maids seated on my bed.

“Hello.”

“Hi…” I responded nervously.

“Why do you seem so surprised to see me? Weren’t you expecting me?” She asked as she got up.

“I…um…”

“Didn’t Madame tell you?” She raised an eyebrow.

“Tell me what?”

“That I would be here to do your makeup.” She threw her hands up in exasperation.

“Oh…um, you’re Jade?”

“Yes!”

“Oh, I’m so sorry. I just didn’t expect you to be here now.”

“It’s fine.” She smiled warmly. We both sat down.

“So, you’re Charlotte.”

I nodded. “Yes, I am.”

“Well, you’re welcome to Blue Moon pack. I heard our Alpha saved you and…”
