Alpha Thor’s POV
I unpacked and had a shower. The issue of the wedding ceremony arranged on my behalf when I had no idea about it was simply ridiculous and mischievous. I didn’t think Dana could stoop so low to try and force a marriage.
But maybe it was my fault. I had heard her on countless occasions bring up the topic and try to insist that we were taking too much time to get this Luna and mate business out of the way. She was right. We were taking so much time. But that was because, irrespective of how I tried to seem like I didn’t care what happened and who I ended up with, I knew I didn’t want that person to be Dana. I was leading her on, hoping someone better would come along so I could finally leave her.
She wasn’t the woman I wanted to be with. I realized that a long time ago, but I didn’t want to admit it.
