Alpha Thor’s POV

Trust Dana to do exactly what I say when it’s going to suit her, just her. When I asked her to gather everyone, I didn’t actually expect every single person to be there. The hall was filled up, and the only people not in attendance were the castle protectors, the high priestess, and the cell guards. No matter what the occasion was, they were never to leave their posts.

The castle protectors were very different from the guards. They were more powerful, more fierce, bigger wolves, and they had mystical powers. They didn’t speak and weren’t spoken to. It took instruction from the high priestess herself to activate them, and she could only do so when the castle was in immense danger.
