“Oh, you’re back. That’s good. Jade! Take the drinks, do what’s necessary, and send them to Luna’s quarters.” I turned to Charlotte. “Well, I’m sure you have other tasks you need to do today. Why not get right at it?” I said and turned to walk away. I had taken a few steps from her when I realized I hadn’t even asked her how the trip to the pub went, especially since I had sent her there specifically and at that specific time for another reason.

“Charlotte...” I called and walked back to her again. “How was the trip to the pub? I’m sure it must have been enjoyable since you got to leave the castle for the first time since you got here.”
