Chapter 68. White Rose, a Candle and An Altar
I wasn’t sure if I was doing the right thing or maybe I was just insane.
I shuddered. The sky was gray and heavy, and the breeze was cold against my bare skin. There was a small part of me that wished I had brought my coat after I went out of the house. Even as a werewolf, I was never good at cold weather. She-wolves couldn’t regulate as much body heat as he-wolves. That’s why most women in a pack stayed indoors during a heavy winter.
After dropping Cath off at her classroom, I drove straight to a place where I asked ‘him’ to meet me. I knew it was crazy that I had come up with this decision, but it was the only way I believed would fix everything between Caden and me.
Otis deserved my respect and loyalty. I never wanted to give him more heartbreak. All he did was endure so much for Cath and me, and he never left our side, even in our direst moments.
